Dear Raji Johnson,
For the last 2000 years Orthodox Church remained in the same faith and will continue same. Because it is constituted and built by Jesus Christ (Mt. 16:16). Now we see human planted churches.I am not talking about that. This is about the Orthodox Church. In all these centuries many had tried to redefine the faith that is entrusted. Thus evolved Catholic Church, Protestant church and other non denominational ones...Still Orthodox church remain unchanged...and would continue in the same way....
See what the American Presbyterians believe on women ordination.... the following is from their site and the link is given below.

Myth
Presbyterians believe that it is OK to ordain women.
Fact
Some do. But not those within the Presbyterian Church of America. We believe that only qualified men can be ordained as pastors, elders and deacons. This is based on passages such as 1 Timothy 2:11-12, 3:1-
13, that show that women are not to be in authority or teach men within the confines of the church.
This is not to put women down. We are not saying that women are not equal with men in their importance to the body of Christ. But it is not their role to fill such positions. This reflects the Triune aspects of God. Whereas it was not all three persons of the Trinity who died on the cross. It was not the role of the Holy Spirit to die on the Cross, but that of Christ's. Therefore, men are to take the leadership role in the church, in all aspects, just as Christ is the head of the church (Ephesians 5).
http://www.osceolapca.org/mythfact2.htmIt is much easier for them to ordain women to priesthood, for they do not have any sacradotal offices and apostolic succession....still why they refuse.....May be because they follow Bible and not myths orlogic...
